Metamorphasis

I've kept this blog and the domain name for several years, even though I haven't used it.

Jonathan started it for me, for my birthday, when everyone was keeping fiber blogs. I planned for it to be a place to show my fiber shenanigans, family shenanigans, and to share beautiful birth stories.

Facebook and Pintrest are my fiber spots now, along with an occasional Ravelry post or download.

HIPPA laws cancelled my plans to share birth stories.

My family is still the best family ever! We've all changed a lot over the years. Jonathan, Justin, Sarah, and Chloe have all moved, though they live nearby. Jonathan works almost full time, in a position that touches lives, and makes a real difference in our community. Plus, he's a full time college student. I'm not sure when he sleeps!

Justin and Sarah celebrated nine years of marriage this month. They have another beautiful daughter, Serenity Claire! We thought Chloe was their two-fisted handful. Ren is giving Chloe a run for the title! She is smart, self assured, and the most awesome almost 2 year old there is! Chloe is 8 now! She is as wonderful as ever! She loves school and performs in our local Children's Theatre!

Kaity is 19. She has become a young woman of grace, and is beautiful inside and out. She is deciding what she's supposed to do in life, as she finishes her Senior Year. She is very creative, and is still our All Creatures Great and Small girl!

Khi is 17. He is a typical pizza crazed teenager. He has some special challenges in life, but meets each one as they come. He still dives in head first, and completely focuses on whatever catches his interest at the moment!

Benny is officially retired. Most of the time, we love having him home all day!

I'm still Spinning Doula. I’m a spinning, knitting, weaving, crocheting, doula in Southern Ohio, married to the man of my dreams. I have a fiber addiction. I’m a birth junkie.

I'm an adoptee. I am an Adoption Law Reform advocate. I've had a couple of hit and miss reunions with some of my first family. The ones that hit, are relationships that I treasure. The ones that missed, I don't miss a bit!

I'm not sure what this blog will turn out to be. But I suspect it will be a place where I keep a journal of sorts, memorializing times, thoughts, and events that I don't want to forget.

See Ya'!
