The Game begins!
I just sent in my information for the Socka-PAL-ooza exchange.
In the past, exchanges have brought me stress. I always enjoy them in the end, but I don't do well with deadlines. I procrastinate and then don't allow myself enough time to finish the project enjoyably. So I spend a night or two before the deadline, awake most of the night finishing.
I was always like that in school too. I think people are either made to procrastinate or not. I've never known anyone who was good at managing time become a procrastinator or vice versa.
The mail date is not until March 15. I will begin as soon as I receive the information about my recipient. Depending upon the tastes of my recipient, I'm thinking of spinning something nice to knit the socks from. Maybe a merino/silk blend.
