1 Down - 1 To Go
This is my first socka-PAL-ooza sock. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I knit it from the "Fancy Chevron Lace" sock pattern, as I had planned, in handspun merino.
I didn't kitchner stitch the toe very well. I used a darning egg from Rose to hold the toe in shape as I repaired my mistake. I enjoy the darning egg. It allows me to finish socks neatly. Now I need to buy some sock blockers. Anyone have a good place to buy some?
Since I imagine the one I'm knitting for has two feet, I'm off to cast on the next sock.

Beautiful sock! Is it knit with *your* handspun?

The sock looks great!
I have been wanting to try using a darning egg, but I don't have one yet.
The best sock blockers I've had are ones I made myself from the wire hangers you get from the dry cleaner's. You can see one at http://www.purlwise.com/2004/09/sock_blocker.html They are easy to make, cheap and they hang nicely from a shower curtain :-)
