Field Trip

We're going on our first field trip of the year on Friday. We got tickets for the whole family to attend a Republican rally and see President Bush. Even if we were Dems I think I would want to take our kids to the rally. It's not often that one has the opportunity to see the President of the United States of America. My oldest son will be a first time voter this year. What a great way to get excited about the democratic process!

I think that that is a WONDERFUL idea for a field trip. It will be something that the entire family will remember all of their lives. I'm with you...even if I was a Democrat, I'd go. I signed on with the Presidential Prayer Team at their website and President Bush and his Cabinet are prayed for daily. Can't hurt...right? Checking in from water-logged South Carolina (at least, we ain't in Florida!)...8 1/2" at our house...Ark building begins first thing tomorrow morning:) Hurricane Ivan looks bigger and badder...Those poor Floridians, among others. Take care, my dear... and, by the way, say "Hello." to George for me...hahaha...No. Don't. I might get on the "Suspicious Citizens" List:0 I hope you have a great time and keep on voting! Matthew was so proud the first time he got to vote, and the "Babies" are only a year away. (17 on the 18th)... hugs from me:)
